About me
I am a graduating senior at Rhode Island School of Design studying textiles with a focus on apparel applications. My work bridges material experimentation with cultural and historical narratives, using fabric as a medium for storytelling and innovation.
My interests include:
American urban history and its influence on material culture
China post-WW2 / family background as a lens for identity and design
Costume fashion and textiles, exploring historical and theatrical elements
Streetwear applications and the intersection of utility, culture, and style
I explore these topics through industrial knitting, surface manipulations, and pattern design, creating textiles that merge technical precision with conceptual depth. I am currently based in Providence, RI and Gaithersburg, MD.
